Freeview box not saving channels

I have a mico stb235 freeview box from Asda that works fine with one exception, if it is turned off at the mains i have to re-install all the channels.
I have phoned the helpline and was told to install with the aerial disconnected then re-install with it connected, this hasn't worked.
I know most people leave theirs on standby but i like to turn appliances off over night or when i am out, the obvious exceptions being fridge, video ect.
I also have a ferguson box that i turn off with out any problems.
Does anyone know of any other digi boxes that will hold the channels when the power is cut.

Have a look at this box.
It is made by Sony and is said by many as the mutts nots of boxes. My daughter has an Alba which has a similar problem to yours and if it plays up any more then we will be purchasing the Sony too.0 -
Thanks Reluctant spender but the sony is a bit more at £78 than the Asda box at £25 i suppose you do have to pay for quality.0
