Mint - Possibly changed 0% period?

in Credit cards
Hello,
I took a Mint credit card out in June 2008, transferred over £2K onto it as it was 0%. I have just phoned them up to be told that the 0% period ends in January. Now, I'm quite good with things like this and would never have done this amount of money knowing full well i wouldn't have paid it off in 6 months and therefore wouldn't have to change cards again so soon, incurring another 3% BT fee. I believed that it was for a 12 months but don't seem to have any paperwork stating this (I have kept everything i was sent).
Has anybody else had anything like this happen to them and can anyone offer advice?
Thanks for your help.
Steve

Seem to remember it was 13 (or 14?) months on BT's and 6 (or 7?) months on purchases (as were most of the RBSG cards at that time)?
Maybe the person you spoke to was unsure as to which offer you were talking about?0 -
Can you ask them for a copy of your terms and conditions?0

Thanks both for responding.
I've phoned them about it twice now as i thought the first person have been mistaken as I also had a Tesco CC which i've now cleared and that is also January '09. I just know i wouldn' t have done this for such a short period of time, it's really bugging me! I'll ring them and ask for the T&C's.

Having now transferred my balance over to MBNA (0% until Nov 09), I have received confirmation through in writing (nearly a month after i asked for it) stating that my 0% period with Mint actually ends in May 09 and not January as they told me . . .twice! They are useless and this has cost me money as i've paid 2.9% of £2.5K (£72) when i could have paid this amount off before May!
I'm angry!! :mad:0 -

If you were able to pay it off before May. You were probably better off with the Abbey Zero card which gives you 0% interest on balance transfer for 6 months without a fee. Guess its to late now.
To get the card you would have to go in branch or over the phone.0
