Lg Lcd Tv

Me again. Just had replacement TV from Empire and the screens still going black intermittently. Have tried different scart leads and brought the portable tv (not an LCD telly) from the kitchen and watching them at the same time to make sure it's not the Virgin Media box. Have I been unlucky and had 2 tV's with the same fault or could there be another reason? Any help greatly appreciated.

Is it connecting with a HDMI cable to the Virgin Media box? If so, you'll find it's the HDMI syncing that's the problem and it could actually be the virgin box that's the trouble. Your portable TV doesn't have HDMI so doesn't experience the problem as it's using SCART or component.
  • Hi Conor, no connecting with a scart lead. Just been in Curry's today and asked in there and he said it's the telly. (Didn't tell him we bought it at Empire). Have emailed Empire and asked them to contact me.
