Faulty software or technical prob??

Options
Hiya,

I'm Nat and new to the forum. I have a prob which I hope someone can help with.

I have Digital Darkroom and never have got it working properly. Sometimes when you try to edit it says "could not start operation because undo record can not be created. Perhaps current disk is full. Try to clear undo list." Then when you try to clear list, there is nothing to clear!

Sometimes when you can get it to "work", it does odd things like will move across pic rather than zoom in, or will flip the pic over. Sometimes it won't save as it says the file is locked.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, with no anti-virus software running and also installed with no other progs running.

I have cleared temporary files, have 1GB RAM and 134GB free hard disk space.

PLEASE can anyone help with this??

I have never had any experience with this piece of software, but my opinion is that there is a problem with either the program's settings or you have a hardware problem with your computer stopping the program from performing its task. What is the speed of your processor? (Press Windows Key and Pause/Break then look under "Computer" on the General tab - it's the one with Ghz after it.
  • Or if it's a real old system, it might say MHz :p

You've got a pretty quick processor then, so that wouldn't be a problem. Your memory is sufficient (you say you have 1.0 GB of RAM) and you have enough Hard Disk Space.

I'll see what else I can find then. ;)
