Anyone recommend a keyboard and mouse to buy, any brands i should stay clear of, i dont want to pay over the odds as its for normal use eg internet browsing, typing, no gaming but im likely to be using it on ubuntu or other linux distros so does that make a difference

All I can say is stay clear of the £9.99 Argos wireless bundle. Iratic mouse movements when trying to move it.
I recommend Advent Keyboards and mice due to their quality and price. Had 2 now and they haven't let me down. touch wood.0 -

As the for the bundles on ebuyer this is the option I would choose.

2 good reviews and a £15 price tag.0 -
Operating system should make no difference, but if you don't need wireless a £5 keyboard from Asda isn't too bad, and an optical wheel mouse for £8 upwards.0

I have found Logitech to be excellent. Personally use a Logitech MX400 Laser mouse which is great.
Have a look on their website to see if anything catches your eye.0 -
I got an Asda Smartprice keyboard - £4.75 I think.
The keys are i little deep but it works a treat, I'd buy it again! :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.
