I don't think that your TV's onboard freeview tuner would be HD compatible, so you would need a HD box whenever these become available. I think tha some TV sets now come with an onboard Freesat HD tuner but that would need a Sky or other satellite dish to work.0

I think it depends if the TV has mpeg4 freeview tuner.
Just found out my TV doesn't do mpeg4, so will need a freeview mpeg4 box.
Can you get a HD freeview mpeg4 pvr multi function thingy?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Sadly the service is only available via satellite so will require a dish and box - details here - http://www.freesat.co.uk/.How much? You're having a laugh!0

But it is apparently planned for Freeview at some point when all of the analogue stuff is switched off. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
