have funny utube clips on realplayer, want to put on mem/stick or dvd for pals working overseas, they have no internet, disabled and cannot afford realplayer request to buy their burning software ,have nero software but cannot find realplayer libary clips to copy [ could they be ''locked in'']? help appreciated has taken 2 month to build up clips.

Have you looked within the Real Player Program files? Check your PMs.

All you really need to do with youtube clips is look in your 'temporary internet files' in whatever browser you're using and you'll find them. They're usually the 10 - 15mb downloads most probably the .flv files or sometimes the .tmp files themselves, just make a note of the time you watched the file and use Windows Explorer to sync the approximate time to the large file. Then 'rename' the file to 'whatever.flv' and you'll have a copy of the downloaded file.

You can then send your friends a copy of the files, plus a copy of VLC Media Player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ and they'll be able to play back the content.

problem tenp files cleanedon spyware clean up , any other advice appreciated as maddening have them on realplayer but self emp.and off work after spine op , so funds very tight to afford realplayer download

Do you mean that you have the files stored on your hard drive in a format that can only be played using RealPlayer? If so, why not convert them to a more convenient format?

thats what I want to do , [on morph for spine pain so a bit 'thick'] cannot work out how to transfer from [realplayer11] seem locked in unless I buy their vidio burning software, even their download to other portable items shows nothing that works , advice appreciated
