I ordered a load of clothes at 12:05am this morning, all in stock, but their site took a while to show the discount code. BUT I couldn't choose a nominated delivery, other than Jan 2009, so I went to bed after the order, trying to change again this morning.

Apparantely you can't choose a nominated delivery as they are so busy, and the suggested dates are useless for us as we won't be around. Wish now I'd just gone to the shop, not sure what to do, been waiting for a sale for these items, and happy to pay extra for fast delivery. Providing we get them, it'll be ok, but if the next problem is items that said they were in stock aren't, I'll not be happy, as I'm so tired at work this morning!!

If they arrive before the date and all ok, I'll be happy....

I have had a succession of incompetent/misleading emails, and this morning I have been told that I will get none of my order.
I vowed before never to order from them online again, and this time I'll stick to it!

I have had the same problem- very inconsistent emails giving different information. I also had to email and request my refund as it had not been processed. Will be staying well clear!!

have just ordered 2 hampers online - was going to make up hampers in store but hadn't realised that there would be 20% off the ready made ones online - made a really good saving so am very happy!

(...just hope they turn up! )

I ordered a pair of pyjamas for my gran (£19.50) 2 Christmas ornaments (£4 each) and a pack of christmas candles (£4) these were all items I wanted anyway and was going to buy last week but hung off for this sale. I got the whole lot delivered for £20.65 plus I went through quidco and got £1.01 from there so total cost to me was £19.64 :j

Delivery dates 10-15 december (I hope they do come on time)

Oh and even more annoying, the stated: customer.care@marks-and-spencer.com added on all their help pages is closed,
"I’m afraid your email has not been delivered to Marks & Spencer Customer Services, as this particular mailbox has now closed, and is no longer in use."

so you have to use the annoying contact view web system if you can't get to a phone!

It says on their website that most orders are taking a couple of days longer than the "estimated" delivery dates to arrive. Even if you spend £100s the free next day delivery isn't available.
• has anyone else noticed that some of their stuff is at higher prices. i bought this last week at £135 no special offer.
