Hi all,
Just been to local store, very small but managed to "waste" all my points on lots of lovely wee things!!! 50% off cant resist, I know I should have waited till 75% off! No S&G sets, very few perfume sets.
Was wondering if any of you Glasgow girls(boys) have any idea if there are any s&g sets around in the city. Also what perfume sets might be available, looking for Marc jacobs Daisy.Tried to park at Fort but was a no go area after 1pm today, queues on motorway! Heading to the city tomorrow morning.
TIA
WBx
No S&G left in St.Enochs, no Daisy sets either.0 -
Happy holidays everyone!
I managed to visit a Boots today but it was madness. The shelves were almost bare, lots of people.
I found 8 JK nail files = £23.54 and got 30 in points . :j Bought a DG Light Blue perfume set with 1600 points, Nice xmas presie from me to me :T
Hoped to find something else nice with the rest of the points but I left them for another time because it was too busy0 -

The only s&g sets left are the Glove story and Glam slam, I got them just incase my .com order doesnt turn up intact. They had loads of the ckin2u if anyones looking for them, they were oos on .com earlier. Hope everyone gets what their looking for in the sales.
Totally agree with you here, everytime i picked something up i was thinking in my head, 'do i really need it? if i get it in the 75% sales it would be better and if not then boo hoo, will i die from not getting it?' All i got in the end was a bottle of water.
Plus i dont think boots had as much stock as last year, for some reason i think boots had better stuff last year.0 -
*Insert Mrs BTVB is seriously annoyed smilie here*
Have just opened that Liplicious set and found that the Angel Cake gloss is missing, and I have two Marshmallow glosses instead...so either someone put the wrong one in when they were assembling the sets or some ******** has been up to naughty tricks in Boots...
Can't justify the petrol to go back to the Retail Park (and I doubt there's any left anyway) and REFUSE to pay the delivery charge to collect in store...Mr BTVB says he will call CS in the morning and see what can be done   :mad:DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
hmmmm, you're all confusing me now
I was planning to go to the next and boots sales tomorrow (got what I really wanted pre sale, and got the bits I missed online sale) but don't know whether to bother as by the looks of it, it seems rubbish?! but then......if I don't go I feel I'm missing something lol..
Seriously though, is it worth a trip to boots judging by how it was today? Anyone who has been already, got ant advice on bits they think would be left? or worth a look?
Any advice appreciated

Hiya i was looking for that also today in Bristol but none to be found in 2 boots, the perfume shop, debenhams or the fragrance shop (they all are doing the set half price if you can find it). Nothing excitting in boots only soap and glory glove story left but hey loads of the no7 skincare set I counted at least 20 of them.
Hi
Which Boots in Bristol did you try??? Was there much stuff in any of them??? Thinking of venturing into Broadmead tomorrow, is it worth bothering do u think??0 -
Really fed up now with the site, spend three and half hours now trying to pay, looks like i will have to call them tomorrow.Married 09/09/090

I was in and out of boots in about 15 mins this morning, tbh i was very underwhelmed. But thats probably because i had already got the bits i wanted before xmas and wasn't tempted by anything else even at 50%. The only reason i went in was to look at the perfume sets. I got the very wang princess handbag set thingy half price as i missed out on it online, its so lovely:D and i also got the SJP Lovely one. There were no Daisy sets in either boots or debenhams, so i treated myself to the necklace solid perfume at full price in debenhams anyway with some xmas money- its really adorable and definitely worth looking at if you're a marc jacobs fan.
I did see plenty of the lancome, clarins and clinique sets that were brought out for xmas (skincare, body stuff, makeup), all were reduced by a third so may be worth popping out for if you were after any of those. It was getting really busy when i left, and i saw a couple of women with loads of the big red R&M sets, and some of the FCUK bags (loads of these in belfast this morning btw). All i could think was how much better a deal they would have got buying them while they were OOTW and on 3 for 2
I really don't think you'd be missing much hun if you didn't go in, especially if you got what you wanted online. Its definitely worth a nosy if you happen to be near a store but not worth a special trip IMO unless you've your eye on something IYSWIM. x:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
