Quite agree...have seen and heard comments from people in the past along the lines of "I'm only 20 something/you're only 20 something...I/you don't need to use moisturiser etc"...well I think it's about prevention, not cure - i.e. you can't stop the march of time (and wrinkles and such) but you can delay it if you look after your skin properly. Of course some moisturisers are meant for younger skins, some for older, but there is something for everyone out there - and it doesn't have to be expensive.

*Edited to add* Plus if you can get your mitts on a moisturiser that includes sun protection even better - but don't rely on just this to protect your face in the warmer months.

    Would this work?

Buy 14 JK Nail files - cost £41.16 (do in seven transactions to hopefully get 7 blueys)

    This would earn 5250 points

I could then buy three OOTW plus three/four GWP with the points (with 250 left over). If I have calculated it right this would work out at £13.72 per set - have I done my sums right?

Could I also get 7 JF Serums and 7 sharpeners also free

Am I being hopeful or would that work - or is there a better/cheaper way to get them?

  • Hello,

Just discovered this site and thread today, fantastic! Strong suspect I will become addicted.

Wondered if anyone might be able to help me please? I don't seem to be doing very well at finding the bargains in Boots. I went to the Glasgow Fort store but they didn't seem to have any Jemma Kidd nail files and they were only offering 500 points not 750...would that be right?

Also, there were no Bourgois nail files, tweezers or sharpeners.
Is it usual that they don't have the items when offers like this are on?

    Thanks ever so much!

Hi, and welcome ... watch out u will get addicted! lol. Not sure what is going on with the points exactly but I think that it was 500 and has now been increased to 750 quite recently ... not100% sure though! You ought to try a larger store of Boots and go to the nails and accessories section and there you will find the JK nail files unless there is an actual JK stand there you might be able to get them straight from that! I had to go to two different Boots stored to find mine ... but got them in the end! With regard to the tweezers etc .. they will be in the Bourjois section (I always find they are somewhere near the bottom of the display), you may have none in your store soo again I would suggest trying a different store. Hope this is of help to you!

Well that defo sounds like it should work to me! You must be good at maths! lol. It would have taken me ages to get my head around working that out! Provided you are given the blueys you should be able to get the serums and sharpeners free! If you manage to get OOTW and all other offers stated above you must fill me in!

  • Thanks so much for that Cocktail Savings. Will try another store tomorrow, and if not try another again. The hunt begins (think that addiction has started already)! Great tips, thanks again.
