Nail on the head. It's Boxing Day
However, some stores which are still Alliance have gifts at 50% off now, not on 3-for-2.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

However I have tried it on a more amenable 9 year old and myself.
It's quite ugly looking and unlike a normal hairbrush you hold it flat in the palm of your hand, which takes a bit of getting used to. The 'bristles' are quite sharp and pointy - I like this, its feels like your scalp is being really brushed. DD3 complained when I scratched her ears though. As for the knots, DD3 has fine fly-away hair which gets really snagged up around the bobble. It did still hurt her a bit, but I thought it got through the tangles a lot quicker, and this morning there seemed to be less knots in her hair. She thinks it is "okay". Let's face it, if you have knots, it's going to hurt taking them out, but I did feel this was a little quicker and the brush didn't seem to 'snag' in the hair so much.
I will report back after the real test of DD2 tonight.
Thanks,
I'm off to get one now.:beer:0 -
How do I make an order online to collect in store and pay instore?
Place the order in your shopping basket on .com then at the end it will ask you if you want a home delivery or if you want to collect in store, click that you want to collect in store and a few days later (up to 5 days, i think) you will get a text (if you supply your mobile number) telling you when your order is ready to collect. I used this facility for the first time last week and i was very happy with the order and how it went through.
p.s. you can't pay instore when making an order online though!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

I saw these in store and I thought the one in the green bottle was very fresh smelling and quite nice. The peachy bottled perfume was a bit like cheap coconut suntan lotion, (but might be ok to wear in summer) they didn't have the purple one so cannot comment on that.
But the 1500 points is very tempting.0 -
i returned some items to Boots today without receipt or advantage card(funny how i can never find it when returning something!!).i exchanged for some hair straigteners, but was told couldnt have receipt(which i need for guarantee) as i did not return other stuff with one..
..is this right....
I've done this before and got a receipt saying "item returned without receipt" under the exchanged item (or something like that). You are entitled to a receipt. Legally you have still bought the straighteners its just that Mr B has accepted other goods in payment rather than cash. You should therefore get a receipt.0 -
Just wanted to say thanks - got the slimfast yesterday.
Also am I the only one who makes up a virtual shopping basket just to see how many points I could get - and then dont buy it LOL.
I just logged in to check a refund and my basket came up with 27 items at £150 odd!! Must delete that.........0 -

I did an order this morning for £67 but only got normal points
Cant seem to find it mentioned anywhere on the site either about bonus points.
No bonus points just half price delivery."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle.
