Remember we were discussing the possible sale dates back in late November? This is what I predicted.... anyway, I'm thinking about popping into Boots on Wednesday morning just to check. There's at least one item I have my eye on that I don't think will last out to the 75% sale.

Oh, don't believe their quoted delivery dates, I ordered Fri eve, they quoted 18th (thurs), I got it this morning! Not even been charged yet!

I ordered on boots.com on a Saturday, it said i would get the delivery the following Friday, but on the Wednesday i got a text saying i could call at the store to pick up my order. I think the dates they give are mostly guidelines so they are covered if it takes a bit longer to deliver our orders.

Now now, now then kiddy winks, whats going on here? Where has this rumour about the sale come from? I just want to emphasise that it is purely a rumour. There is nothing to suggest it otherwise and the sale will go ahead, as normal on boxing day.

Obviously all this could change at any time, but as of now, 23:46, there is no truth in the rumour.

I've now got visions of sales of rescue remedy going through the roof just to calm all you excited peeps down!

As if we haven't already bought enough boots goodies and yet.....the lure of more is sooo tempting....just think of all those lovely extra points.
We all need a glitch to help take our minds off all this:)

yeah but just think of all those lovely goodies on boxing day, when the total spend voucher on the extra offers kiosks might be lower! That's not confirming that they will be lower btw, just a statement. oh hell, i better ring HO up tomorrow for extra rescue remedy deliveries now i've said that :rotfl:
