I found some JF Luminous Colour Glaze reduced to 1.75:T I had a rumage about in my bag for my 2.00off haircare vouchers, but they were not there - I'd left my boots voucher wallet at home:eek: I was so mad with myself:mad:

I put the bottles back on the shelf and was just about to leave the store, when I glanced in a basket on my way out. I couldn't believe my luck. Someone had thrown away 2 double vouchers:j off I went (skipped) back to the haircare shelf and grabbed 2 JF LCG. Got both for free:D

Hi everyone, I am trying to do .com order for the slimfast smoothies, I am registered with healthcare but I am adding 6 packs to basket and still getting £29.40 as this is full price how do I get 50% off.

I have proceeded to checkout but still nothing showing up as 50% off what am I doing wrong.
you say you are registered for healthcare club, but have you taken your healthcare club voucher (received in your healthclub welcome pack) instore to get it scanned and put on your advantage card? If you havn't got one I think you can do it in the acm or ask the SA to do it at the till. I can't think of anything else

Just spoke to my mum who got me the ootw today, and the sa said to her "these are flying off the shelves we've put them all out and people pratically taking them out of the box for us! The week's stock wont last the week thats for sure!" she also said people buying like 6 at a time! If you want one grab one quick!

Are boots not more recession proof than other shops (relatively speaking - I don't mean they are totally immune), certainly in their core cosmetics business? I think I saw on the news that people are still spending on make up and cosmetics etc but not buying as many clothes - going out less means fewer party frocks. Plus an item of clothing is a lot more expensive than 1 new lipstick. The only area where boots are more exposed is their xmas gift market - hence i suppose the potential for bogof!

Historically in times of recession/hardship cosmetic sales have actually seen a rise, as people look for ways to cheer themselves up, whilst also trying to look like times aren't as hard as they are.

Went on the hunt for Rembrandt, my local does not stock them. Such a shame cos I have a teeth brushing fetish and at 8/12p it would have been such a bargain! Oh well.

Didn't see anything worthwhile at Boots when I popped in.

*** OFF TOPIC *** Did see some posh GARNIER PURIFYING PEEL KIT at Quality Save/Home Bargains (they sell branded stuff at cheap cheap prices). Anyway, the above item which has a RRP of £10 was being sold at £1.99, so thought I would get one. I know it's a product for women, but with the amount of spots I get on my forehead, I thought I would give it a shot. It's got some kind of peeling solution in too, might finally do my skin some good. Looks really posh by the way. Told the ladies at work and they all legged it and got some too. Would be good as a cheapo Xmas present if you know someone uses it. Also saw lots of Biore/Clearasil stuff dirt cheap, I'm talking £5/£6 worth for £1, all boxed and proper.

Anyway, got 4 x NO7 Toning Tan Maintainers if anyone wants them. Will obviously be charging P+P, but no cost for the actual stuff. I went a bit OTT when the new GWP's came out (put some on eBay mind), and got a fair few. Ladies at work don't want Toning Tan Maintainers. 1st 4 people to pm me before tomorrow can have them. Want to get rid of them by then.

Have you opened them? If not you could return and rebuy. Or if they've been opened, buy some more when they're on offer of the week then return the new ones with your old, full price, receipt ;)

As kay-depp has just mentioned, if you want this weeks ootw, go out and get it asap! Our store has nearly sold through it's entire stock today, and believe me, we had LOADS!

If you local store has sold out, don't forget to use the instore ordering service with free delivery to store. I expect these too will sell out quick though!
