log out of boots.com
go to top of browser, click tools, click options, click privacy tab, click show cookies, type boots into the search box, all boots cookies will show in the main box, use the remove cookie button until all the boots ones are gone (you can remove all cookies, but this might mess with bank sites, passwords and personalised settings so only recommended if you can remember all that stuff)
I delete boots cookies every couple of days 'cos otherwise I get lots of generic errors etc. ( I never order stuff, though, I just like making virtual baskets :rotfl:)
I will update for IE in a moment.

Now there's a question. I'll let you know when they sort it out :rotfl:
I "wasn't in" for a delivery when they did in fact manage to deliver one of two boxes (unnecessarily large boxes, as always). The box I "wasn't in" for went back to the warehouse. Problem is, it was a 3for2 order split into two boxes.........0 -

I'm just about to pay for an order of just over £100, and the delivery day seems to be next Friday when I know I won't be at home.
Will it be Parcel force so I can go and pick it up... or a special courier who will take it away again? And how likely is it to be the Friday?
Cheers
Cbm
my delivery arrived a day early. Others have found that they get the dispatch email the day of actual delivery. This was also the case for me.r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Just been to a very small Boots and the mix and match Xmas 3 for 2 was no longer on - it has been replaced with BOGOF!!!!!!!!! I have just checked on line and still only 3 for 2. Unfortunately they only had a couple of useless gift sets so I left empty handed but I was assured that the offer is also on in larger stores.
It could be that Boots are trying to keep this under wraps for now but with the pre-Christmas price wars nothing would surprise me. I'm waiting as long as I dare for some mega reductions.0 -
woo got my OOTW right here! I swear this is bigger than the others i have been eyeing up the last few weeks lol.:heart2:Stupid, unreliable vampire.:heart2:0

It was postponed "on the advice of the sales team" but they have been told it will probably happen soon.

Ha!! I suspected as much! It had to be from the yellow banners etc. Clearly my little chemist didn't get the message that it wasn't going bogof yet......
Thanks geordie lass :A
ps what does DSGF mean??0 -
But this year is not like previous years - Woolies in administration, 20% days at M&S...................
Come on Mr B, bogof will whip everyone into a spending frenzy!
I was just thinking boots offers are not that great at the moment, in town today I got 25% off at oasis, 20% off wallis and 50% off furniture at the pier. Boots must be one of the few shops not having a pre Xmas sale.0 -

Are boots not more recession proof than other shops (relatively speaking - I don't mean they are totally immune), certainly in their core cosmetics business? I think I saw on the news that people are still spending on make up and cosmetics etc but not buying as many clothes - going out less means fewer party frocks. Plus an item of clothing is a lot more expensive than 1 new lipstick. The only area where boots are more exposed is their xmas gift market - hence i suppose the potential for bogof!0 -
