HDMI Cables Laptop to TV

I have been looking at HDMI cables so that I can connect my latop to a Sony HD TV. I am finding the price range so large that I dont really know what to do, prices apear to range from a Belkin at £10 to some costing £200.
Will the Belkin cable be ok for general use and for the occasional iplayer use.

Also is it possible to download a program from iplayer and then save on a DVD to play in a DVD player.

Buy the cheapest. The signal sent over a HDMI cable is digital so it either works or doens't.

There is DRM on iPlayer downloads so to play it on another device you would have to remov eit, which is illegal.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

  • Do a search for the same question answered many times. My cable was about £6 and there are cheaper off site but you pay postage, so any one under £10, you dont say where you are so cannot offer any shops to visit.
