Hsbc Bank

I bank with the HSBC, and by mistake, went overdrawn by £12 for 24hrs in November.
I have just looked at my account on the Internet and find they are charging me £12 for this.
Is this kind of rip off allowed under these new banking regulations??.

More than likley, go into your branch and explain what happened and politely request that they consider refunding the charges, they may well do.

Technically it's a £12 fine for theft of money that was no yours!

Go into your local branch, be very polite, point out that this is a first offence and you're usually an excellent customer, and often they'll lift the charge.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
