hotels4u booking error

hi
i booked a hotel for jan in oct and paid a deposit of 240 and paid the balance last week. i was phoned yesterday by a stoppy woman saying that due to an error in their system my deposit hadnt been recieved and i now owe them 240.
when i paid my balance i was told then that the account showed as depososit not paid but the lady checked it and said no it was ok as mine had been recieved so i paid the balance thinking i owed no more at the time and i was issued with my hotel vouchers that show i have now paid.
anyway after last nights phone call i managed to eventually locate bank statements and they are right the money hasnt come out so i do owe them 240. a bit gutted as i will have less money in my bank now as thought id allready paid it but anyway thats my rant over:rotfl:
anyone else had the same problem?
