new vat rates make sure yellow pages cahrge the right amount

i have just asked for a new invoice for my yellow pages ad for next years yellow pages, and the one that was due to go back showed the 17.5% vat.

just double check that if you got advertising on a direct debit etc. that they have adjusted the vat... i should imagine some of the standinging orders/direct debits might not have been amended

  • I thought that if you paid by dd it was invoiced once per year and you paid your dds monthly. Therefore the applicable vat rate at the date of invoicing will apply.

Only makes a difference if you're not VAT registered.

Might make a difference on Flat Rate, but my brothers not on that so don't understand how the figures work with that.
