  • I've missed you all...Been so Ill again, I can't remember the last time I was like this, me think I will have to go see the Doctor, I think there is something wrong with my left ear  Feels like it's POPPED big time, can't hear anything out of it . Still got the sniffs and the cough and only a week til Christmas.

I think we should start a new thread LOL, for all us Germies so we can moan about how we feel :rotfl: .

Anyway have managed to make DS2 cakes for school party today, and it's the last day in school today:eek: but at least most things are done, and like our wonderful PINKLADYMEL said anything extra ontop of being togeter as a family is a bonus.

well I'm not even setting myself any goals/ jobs today as I know I will feel terrible if I don't finish them :o

Hope everyone is ok and having Chrsitmas fun

  • Morning!

    Get well soon Sarah!

Well you are all sounding so organised - in my mind I was going to be like Misty but it hasn't happened! I'm not too bothered though - I am more organised than I have ever been!

DD2's Santa present has still not been delivered by ELC despite being told it would be here yesterday (and the day before that) - I'm starting to get a bit anxious.

It's our Community Carol Service tonight which is always lovely - DD1 will be singing with the school and they show photos on the wall of all the last six months activities in the village. I don't go to church and am not religious but I love the minister - he does a great service and I know the church will be packed tonight.

    Have a good day everyone.

sarah I had a terrible cold and cough last month - and it lasted for about a month - I felt really ill and my ears were terrible too - I either couldn't hear anything or they kept popping when I blew my nose - it did go away though - thought it never would. But if yours is the same after a couple of days I would def. say get yourself to the doctors.

Good luck today with all your pledges - it's getting so close now.

Forgot we had planned to go to the strawberry farm this weekend so am getting excited about that - they have a lovely farm shop - real luxury treats for christmas and I think there is a tractor ride to see Santa - it's called brockbrush farm I think, and we'll have lunch there (though there'll be no strawberry picking). Probs get my carrots and potatoes from there instead of supermarket on monday!

Very quick message to chrimbobingo girls - i will leave this card up as it is now 5 stamps anywhere gets you £5. If you need to shop you can now do so as I wont be changing the card :D hope that is OK !! should be able to get a fiver in i reckon! :D

ps - that is why the card validated yesterday..so we only get £5 not £10 like we should have :( very disappointed in quidco

Hi everyone, All my presents I ordered have now arrived and are wrapped up. Only a couple of bits left to do, one is to stick labels on two bottles of flavoured vodka for my eldest daughter's hamper but they are in the freezer till Tuesday when we are going there for dinner and taking the presents round so can't do them till last minute. Other thing is to try to sneak two bottles of Stella out the fridge so I can change the labels for OH's hamper. Was going to buy him some but he bought a few crates worth the other day, managed to get two bottles yesterday without him suspecting.

Have sorted all the presents out into large bags ready to be delivered. Have to go out tomorrow with SIL as she wants me to make a sponge cake and ice it for them for Christmas. Will have to make that on Monday morning as busy rest of week. Then she can collect it in the evening and collect the presents for her lot at the same time.
