Furypig - I have watched will you merry me I really liked it0 -
I've bought 3 Xmas gifts today and ordered All I want for Christmas. I've got Elf, A Muppet Christmas Carol and Miracle on 34th Street to watch, none of which I've watched before. Tonight I'm going to write letters to put in my relatives cards (the ones who live miles away). I'm going to 2 Xmas parties this week! On Saturday I'm going to a Victorian day, where a town centre closes the roads off and is turned into a mini Victorian village. Everyone dresses in Victorian costume and there's a procession, stalls, bands, morris dancers, stilt walkers, fire eaters, funfair rides and bagpipes0

pinkladymel - I'm in Telford - where abouts do you hail from?
Havent got very far yet, went to finish cards off & thought I better tidy craft cupboard before my big bro turned to fix the light in there (wouldnt get in otherwise). several hours later I finished & had to get on with a million & 1 every day jobs. So I'm getting my moneysavingexpert fix & then getting on with ebaying, hopefully the LO will be asleep by the time I've finished & I can get on with the cards.
While on the topic of PJs, OH still hasnt forgiven his dad for taking him to school (in the car) in his dressing gown, JUST his dressing gown!
Im a Shropshire lass as well, Shrewsbury born and bred, us shropshire lasses could soon be overtaking the thread xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Give u ladies a laugh, tried to put on false nails last ngt, got 2 done and they were a disaster, the glue had dired up, no wonder they were reduced to £1.00 on Studio.
My mother decided to send dad to Boots for Nail Glue, apparently he took 30 mins b4 asking a member of staff.........he was embarressed. Now sporting fake nails and there brillaint.
Also dont know if anyone does reserve and collect from Argos, but if you go throu Quidco you get £1.00 per transaction xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Exactly, it has to be something manageable, some days we have more time than others.
I'll be making and list of these pledges and checking them twice.....
It is manageable but I soooo love knitting and detest stitching it up - why set myself up to fail - :rotfl:
Is that your sneaky pledge for tomorrow to check pledges? :cool:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hmm..shall we accept Jo_b back into the flock?? I think a place on the naughty list for her?? Only joking of course!!
Welcome back!!!
Pledges here - will try and keep them updated but will be hard!!! This may only last a day!!
I'll take my seat on the naughty step, shall I?
Blimey, daily pledges too... I hadn't banked on that.
My xmas/money-related tasks for tomorrow then:
1. Make a start on the xmas cards
2. Pay HSBC credit card bill
3. Wrap one present (Baby steps! I hate wrapping!)
4. I need to buy some of those money-wallet cards to house some of the paper vouchers that I've got free from survey sites.
That's plenty for me! I'll update back tomorrow! :rolleyes:0 -
OK JT...
My pledge is that by 9.00pm Tuesday night I will finish all my Christmas wrapping and have wrapped OH birthday presents.
Oooh I like this - I feel like I am getting somewhere.
Thank you allx:j:xmastree:0
