Elf has got to be my favourite christmas film. Every year Lee makes me wait forever until I am allowed to see it. I LOVE Will Ferell. Have you seen StepBrothers Jammy?

no we have it on JackSparrow-DVD though ;) I must watch it. Will Ferrel is NOT my fave...but ELF is the best EVER!!

Polar express, Elf, Santa Claus and Muppets xmas carol are the ones we 'save' but last year we saved them so later we all got the winter vomiting bug and didnt see them at all  Just got Muppets to go now! :D

:j Please count me in. I did sign up to last year's Money Neutral challenge and, actually, have done really well in most respects. Where I didn't do too well was in coming back to the thread and updating my progress! :o

In my defence, I did start the year on maternity leave and had to go back to work in July (boo! Hiss!) so had lots of things to keep up with! Also, I did actually commit a lot of my free time to things that were actually making money. I've been devoting lots of time to surveys and free click sites and have recently been writing reviews on Dooyoo!

My new year's resolution is to keep a money saving diary on MSE. I did this religiously in 2007 and found that it really helped to keep me motivated. Hopefully, joining in this challenge will help with that and vice versa! I'll also get to keep up with everybody else's achievements on here.

Good luck all and here's to a profitable and very organised special occasion filled 2009! :j :T :j

That is a crime.. get off this christmas thread now and give yourself 10 lashings!! YOU NAUGHTY GIRL.

I love Polar Express for the kids. Not too keen on muppets carol which is funny because EVERYONE loves it. I do like it.. it's just not my fave. I LOVE christmas with the kranks and the santa clause 1/2/3, santa claus the movie. I also love The Snowman but it really deja vus me to being a little girl with dad and this makes me cry!!

I don't DO NOT like father christmas though. I don't like how he is all common and sweary and running to the toilet and gross. When I was little it disgusted me and it has stuck with me to this day hahha
