Elf has got to be my favourite christmas film. Every year Lee makes me wait forever until I am allowed to see it. I LOVE Will Ferell. Have you seen StepBrothers Jammy?:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0

no we have it on JackSparrow-DVD though
I must watch it. Will Ferrel is NOT my fave...but ELF is the best EVER!!
Polar express, Elf, Santa Claus and Muppets xmas carol are the ones we 'save' but last year we saved them so later we all got the winter vomiting bug and didnt see them at all :eek: Just got Muppets to go now!

:j Please count me in. I did sign up to last year's Money Neutral challenge and, actually, have done really well in most respects. Where I didn't do too well was in coming back to the thread and updating my progress!
In my defence, I did start the year on maternity leave and had to go back to work in July (boo! Hiss!) so had lots of things to keep up with! Also, I did actually commit a lot of my free time to things that were actually making money. I've been devoting lots of time to surveys and free click sites and have recently been writing reviews on Dooyoo!
My new year's resolution is to keep a money saving diary on MSE. I did this religiously in 2007 and found that it really helped to keep me motivated. Hopefully, joining in this challenge will help with that and vice versa! I'll also get to keep up with everybody else's achievements on here.
Good luck all and here's to a profitable and very organised special occasion filled 2009! :j :T :j0 -
That is a crime.. get off this christmas thread now and give yourself 10 lashings!! YOU NAUGHTY GIRL.
I love Polar Express for the kids. Not too keen on muppets carol which is funny because EVERYONE loves it. I do like it.. it's just not my fave. I LOVE christmas with the kranks and the santa clause 1/2/3, santa claus the movie. I also love The Snowman but it really deja vus me to being a little girl with dad and this makes me cry!!
I don't DO NOT like father christmas though. I don't like how he is all common and sweary and running to the toilet and gross. When I was little it disgusted me and it has stuck with me to this day hahha:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -

Ok...it's on its way! Christmas!! We've been scooting through lists like mad women for the last few months...and still have those few items left on our lists. So I challenge you all to name one thing on your list that you will do each day...if you do it, you can go on the Thrify Gifty Girls NICE list, if you don't.....
:eek::eek::eek:
:rotfl:Ok there isn't a prize except full satisfaction of having an organised Christmas (and the real possibility Santa won't come if you remain on the naughty list...full confessions expected ) Who wouldn't want to be on the nice list?!OK...
My pledge: I will transfer all the games to the DS and wrap my Dad's present by 9pm tomorrow nightWho's with me?!Ps - Yes I did watch Elf yesterday, yes I am crazy and yes I do think the candy cane forest exists
..xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0
