  • I wanna take the kids to school in my PJs!!!! Havent got the guts to though & I'm sure my jeans are warmer.
My plan for today is to get a few more things on ebay (last lot before new year) & finish cards (making & writing).

Tomorrow I'm taking OH to get new shoes & a shirt to wear on christmas day (also to pick up dvd with The Sun), then getting all pressies out the roof to make sure nothings missed & to check what batteries are needed.

Thats as far as I've decided this week so better write a better list on tuesday as well.

Eeeeep, LO is unloading my iceland delivery for me, better go rescue it .........

    :xmastree:Hello everyone :xmastree:

Well I would like to say a HUGE welcome to all of the newcomers and hope that you enjoy your money-neutralising-christmas-tastic stay with us

I am sorry I was away all yesterday but I had a temperature of 40.5 and I was pretty much out of it. I usually am so excited to get on here and check the thread (how sad am I?:rotfl:) But I just couldn't sit at a computer.

Fell to sleep texting my mom..:o

I have a load of my Journal Your Christmas work to catch up with but never fear it will be done and uploaded soon.. I hope!! Your journal looks stunning Jammy you really are clever and creative. I love the pocket idea. You have beautiful handwriting.. Mine is too scruffy!!

17 days until christmas. Well done everyone.. I think we made it! Kind of feels a bit weird having so much and so little to do if you get what I mean. There is always that last minute rush to get fresh veg etc (don't trust online delivery!) getting presents from the attic and christmas outfits all ready.

Bring it on!! I can't wait!!!

Totally off topic -but might cheer a few people up at CHRISTMAS (see the link there)

PJ's and Uggs is a definite scouse thing too (+permatan+blonde highlights+under 17) weird. My friends from Wales call them "Jam-uggs" - Jarmies and Uggs = a Jamugg!

A southern Irish radio station does a sketch with 2 trolls about how to talk like Northern Irish ones...very funny (HERE) but they do a song about PJ's....its very funny (slightly offensive language) ! HERE - their little voice crack me up and their laugh makes me laugh so much LOL! Anyway... Ireland must have this mad trend too!

I not only do the school run in my nightwear, I've also been to the drycleaners, the supermarket and even the pub! (Tho' I keep my coat on).
Poor and content is rich enough!

You are all mad!! :D I once came home from OH's in my PJ's as there was no way I was driving home in the morning in the dress I had worn the night before. My MIL basically called me chavscum but as we get along well I took it on the chin as I knew she was kidding and would have done the same :D lol!I prayed all the way home I didnt break down!

From observation up here it seems to be the fashion to take and pick up in PJs although you would need some UGG boots and a Hoody or a long knitted Cardy to be properly Fashionable
    :rotfl:

Will be avoiding that film now :) Seeing as I cried at Home Alone last night

Well I haven't got any Uggs (or even the pretend ones!) and my wellies are very flowery and prob would cause more embarrassment!! I have a hoody on now (yes finally got dressed and more importantly washed!!) I didn't get out the car so it wasn't too bad!

Furrypig the amount of girls who I see walking around manchester city centre in pj's is unbelievable, a fashion trend I wont be taking up though. My mum is a primary school teacher and she says that loads of the mums take the kids to school in the pj's and they all call themselves the slummy mummys lol :rotfl:

Well I live in Surrey and I've never seen anyone in PJ's tho' I think I can relate to the term 'slummy mummy' and sadly not just when I'm sick or in PJ's!!!
