I am currently using this little beauty which has a DAB radio & MP3 player all in one & size of a thumb! i.e very small & portable. I bought this from an ebay seller for about £32 inc P&P which I think is a great price. See below, this seller is still selling these. Do your own search on ebay if interested.

  • DAB is dead, i've just bought an Intempo DX-01 internet radio for £50 from amazon. Absolute bargain, it works on your wifi signal and offers 5000+ stations.
    Highly recommended.
    Dan.

We moved home in July & our new home has very poor DAB reception. I saw the Intempo internet radio that Daniel mentions and took the plunge ... and now we have two internet radios. Best purchase ever. The range of stations available is simply mindboggling ... and for me the neatest trick this little radio can perform is being able to "Listen Again" ... like you do on the BBC website.

Sorry to derail the thread but I agree with Daniel. DAB has been outgunned big style.

Not all DAB radio's are equal. Many makes give poor reception unless in very strong area. Makes like Roberts & Pure are usually best.
You may want sets with a pause/record feature. e.g. "ReVu" on Pure & "PausePlus" on Roberts, for doing small things like pausing a program whilst you answer the phone or rewinding to listen again.
  • Off topic a bit but why the hell dont xbox live allow internet radio it must not be hard to get it through a powerful machine like the 360
