Thanks Martin for the helpful link.........I've been thinking of buying a DAB radio for my parents because my Dad keeps mentioning (hinting more like!) he'd like one. However, I never realised you had to check your reception which I just did and it's not available in their area yet, so thank-you for saving me making a costly mistake!
:beer:You'll make my day if I know I've been helpful to you in some small way,

Yes, very important, when I first got one the sound quality was not very good, but the signal is now much better and sound quality is great.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
If you can find a store with one in stock, this is a nice little radio with a rechargable battery so handy for taking into the garden etc...

£20 from currys - but out of stock in sheffield0 -
This is a nice little one for £35. It has a rechargeable battery (though not fantastic battery life) that can be charged via mains or cranked! It can also be run from the mains. Got it for my husband for his study, it's not one of those shiny ones that will show all the scratches (and it would get scratched in the study!) And it is also an FM radio.

Tesco Direct are selling the Philips AE5000/05 DAB Digital Radio £39.97. If I find one of these cheaper elsewhere I'll update this post. Leave one for me though won't you as I might order one of these for my brother as he's after a DAB radio for Christmas.
I Just noticed Sorry, this product has been discontinued0 -
The Roberts radio a DR46 I think is one of the best buy in Which. Normally priced at £62 ish and is half price in Comet.0

DAB is dead, i've just bought an Intempo DX-01 internet radio for £50 from amazon. Absolute bargain, it works on your wifi signal and offers 5000+ stations.
Highly recommended.

sorry got my letters the wrong way round. It's the one above I meant. I ordered via pigsback and then collected in store. Not sure if I'll still get my piggypoints but worth a try.0
