Just to let all of you who live in Norwich know that CityCare do independant MOT testing.
https://www.citycare.co.uk
It cost £44.15 which I know sounds a lot, but they will tell you exactly what work needs doing to your car so you can take it to a garage to get it fixed. You do have to pay for a re-test, but I think that's worth it considering some garages might say you need work doing that you don't and charge you loads of money (especially if they are having a slow day!).

Alternatively, you could go to Howards Motor Company just round the corner & get your MOT for £37 (+£10 retest)
They are purely an MOT station, they don't do any work on your car, so they gain nothing in failing yours!Women priests. Great. Now there's priests of both sexes I don't listen to - Bill Hicks.0
