questions about ipod touch

hi,can you get a virus on an ipod touch,as its a browser?
and when you plug usb from ipod touch to a computer would it transfer the virus to it?

    Viruses like this, practically unknown I would say. But you do have to beware Apple's own updates, apparently Version 2.2 breaks the BBC iPlayer application which is the only reason I would buy a Touch anyway.

    would you explain this for me? this would make sense as i had to download a new apple update recently

    what he means is that the latest update wont let you watch bbc iplayer, think ive got it right

    2.2 doesn't break iPlayer, there was a minor problem with the BBC not adding the user agent details to their browser detection code to take account of the new version of safari for the iphone. As the 2.2 update became available at the end of the week user identified the problem over the weekend and it was fixed first thing Monday when the developer were back in the office.

    Nice to know, the Ipod Touch is half back in the Xmas list - only limitation is, no Flash pages can be viewed.
