It's on Colney Hatch Lane, which is a fairly busy road. A stone's throw from Muswell hill Broadway. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

In point of fact, cloud-cuckoo-land is not on planet earth. Average London prices topped out at around £325k. Are you seriously suggesting that London is in for an ‘average’ 70% fall ?
Even the most pantomime of bears on here might be sucking their teeth at that notion.
You obviosly havent been reading this forum for very long. You will be very shocked when you find how many are in the 70% club.
I have always been firmly in the 50% club however.
From all the esate agents and bankers who I talk to 50% drop in London is realistic even conservative.0 -

just like the property that you were spouting off about London being 50% down.

I havent got time to do all the work for you.
But if you understood the truth whats really happening then you would know 50% is realistic.0 -
That isnt a particularly nice area though is it? Isnt that next to that huge road and well away from the real Muswell Hill? I think we looked at some of those flats a while back, traditionally not very expensive and a lot of LA properties? Having said that the building looks nice and Id have thought £200k plus.
No its a good area, a few celebs live not far from there. Peirce Brosnan lives not far from there, I think one of the Spice girls does or used to anyway. I have some friends there, their house used to be worth a fortune, now they are in negative equity and they know we have a lot further to fall. Thank fully they have other houses abroad that arnt falling so fast. Also some oil millionaires have houses in similar area.
This just shows how far prices are falling.
But we ant seen nothin yet!0 -

Not far away but still a long way, financially. The addresses in London are metres apart yet hundreds of thousands, or millions apart. The oil rich are up and round the corner...Bishops Avenue. In fact it is a throuroughly decent area, all over, but not universally rich, and a very non central feel.
ETA Just making it clear I'm not being nasty about the area. Its generally got a good feel as far as I could tell0 -

No Bishops Avenue is where the Princes of countries no one has heard of live, thats a little way away from this 150K place.
PIERCE BROSNAN does indeed live a short walk from this 150K flat. Its just the other side of the road and over a bit.
If we are talking about 70% drops does that mean these houses in areas like this that used to be worth a million are going to be worth 300K?0 -
Lets wait and see what the flat actually goes for0

This block of flats is seconds away from the broadway and very well located for transport and shops. I imagine it goes for nearer the £200K mark. For zone 3 its a lovely area. Very different story on the other end of colney hatch lane.
Pierce Brosnan lives in america.0
