You might be interested in the JCB and Sonim XP1 (which are the same phone one is just brand named !) They are built especially to deal with the noise of a heavy construction site and have extra loud ring tones, alarms etc and greater clarity on hearing !!!! It also has the most amazing organization features and is built for practicality of use rather than gadgets. As it is aimed at the construction market it is also virtually indestructible. Oh and the phone has many one touch changes in alerts for messages and calls so if you go from the street into somewhere quiet you can switch straight over to restricting certain calls or turn to silent etc. You can see the rugged nature demonstrated on utube its worth it just for the laughs !!!!!0

Sis is using a Nokia, doesn't have a loop but is thinking about it. I told her they were very heavy on batteries so I guess she'll keep thinking. At least she's learned to text, I'm not sure her DH has which makes communication a little fragile!I will ask my sis what she's using if I remember ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
