Late skiing deals

My wife and I are looking for a late ski deal for the weeks before Christmas or the Christmas week - having done a search and found millions of deals I was wondering if anyone had had a particularly good experience with a late deal and were willing to share. We prefer smaller more intimate companies.

Hi Tom - I went skiing last year with Collett's in Italy, their prices are pretty good and they do have some cheaper accommodation with dinner and breakfast included. The good thing is, if you can ski, they include organised ski days (and snowshoeing for the non-skier). Even with the euro being so strong, the prices of food, wine and beer is very cheap when compared to France and Austria so another bonus. Collett's is a small company and their customer service is excellent. Couldn't fault them. I see they do have offers for Christmas and next week and the snowfall in the Dolomites has already hit record levels.

Thanks maslerdanch - that's great :jtheir price for Christmas is £375 and i am going to try making a provisional booking - Looks like we wont have to cook Christmas dinner!
