My computer has been playing up and I cannot trust it to buy stuffs online. My friend says I can borrow her laptop to use the internet. She is on tesconet and I am on btsurftime. I told her this is not possible unless I create a dial up and where will the bill goes as I am not on tesco. She said, it will go on my phone bill, is this correct? Thanks

As long as you use a PAYG dial up account. Your friend is right. For these accounts, you don't pay anything up front when you set up the account. The access number to connect to the net is normally an 0844 number. You pay for the connection on your phone bill. This normally works out around 1 penny a minute cheap rate. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
