I think you have spotted the Fatal Flaw in this scheme.

Yet another Internet BLOGGER that forgot to proof read his/her drivel !!!!

Not quite worthless, for example £5,000,000 will buy you a bar of chocolate. In the Weimar republic, money did retain some value, its just that you had to load your wheelbarrow with high denomination notes to buy anything.

    Well that's okay then :T

Unfortunately this BLOG is meant as advice on how to prepare yourself for the oncoming hyperinfaltion.......

How many people will have £ 5 mil in Cash to Stash in advance, so they can buy a bar of chocolate after this inflationary apocalypse has hit ?.

    christiandiscussionforums ??
Umm ... it appears that the article that wombat42 found on "christiandiscussionforums" was actually copied and pasted onto christiandiscussionforums from here:

You can find more articles by the brilliant writer Jessica Drew (yeah, okay) here:

I like the one about surviving sudden economic collapse:

And in response to KingL's point, no, the shot gun hasn't been forgotten. ;)

Step 7: Consider buying a shot gun or rifle, for hunting as the availability of meat could be come nonexistent for a time. Also, if the very worst case scenario happens you'll have personal protection for yourself and your family.

    Cheap wheelbarrows for sale.
  • Also don't forget to build a bunker in your garden and ensure you have at least 500 litres of water stocked up.

Plus you can clean your dishes with sand.

There are a number of steps you can make to prepare for a high inflation/ possibly hyperinflationary episode.

The first is to take your head out of your !!!!.

The hyperinflation that occured in argentina, zimbabwe, Wiemar germany etc occured in nations with excessive debts and increasing inflation, just like ours.

    http://crackupboom.net/2009/03/what-is-a-crack-up-boom/

This first stage of the inflationary process may last for many years. While it lasts, the prices of many goods and services are not yet adjusted to the altered money relation. There are still people in the country who have not yet become aware of the fact that they are confronted with a price revolution which will finally result in a considerable rise of all prices, although the extent of this rise will not be the same in the various commodities and services. These people still believe that prices one day will drop. Waiting for this day, they restrict their purchases and concomitantly increase their cash holdings. As long as such ideas are still held by public opinion, it is not yet too late for the government to abandon its inflationary policy.

But then, finally, the masses wake up. They become suddenly aware of the fact that inflation is a deliberate policy and will go on endlessly. A breakdown occurs. The crack-up boom appears. Everybody is anxious to swap his money against ‘real’ goods, no matter whether he needs them or not, no matter how much money he has to pay for them. Within a very short time, within a few weeks or even days, the things which were used as money are no longer used as media of exchange. They become scrap paper. Nobody wants to give away anything against them.

Think it can't happen here? Think again.

    some ideas to prepare
