To get a CCJ the DCA would have to produce TRUE SIGNED COPY OF A CCA
    That is not quite correct.

To get a CCJ, the creditor would have to issue a DN first, they could then issue court proceedings say to try and obtain a CO, part of that process would involve the issue of a CCJ, if NOT challenged at every step, a CCJ would be granted, and throughout this whole process, NO VALID CCA will have been produced.

I'm advising someone where a CCJ has been issued, without any CCA being produced.
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional

Not sure where this leaves me then as I probably did apply for the Egg Card on line - such a long time ago now I can't remember. I might have done it over the phone as I was trying to get a better rate at the time (i'd had an Egg card before but was told i didn't qualify for the newbie rate as not enough time had elapsed).

I'll just have to wait and see what comes back - no point worrying now.

We've had loads of 'silent' calls this weekend - we seem to have 2 DCAs chasing our HSBC debt!
