    Hi,
Can I join please. I have been doing really well over the past few years and the end is in sight. I have set myself the challenge of paying off my debts before DD goes to uni this September. However, now that debts are more in control I feel there is a danger of me falling back into my old ways and feel this challenge might keep me focused.

Thought it was time to pop back and say hello to everyone. Have just had a quick read through the last 8 weeks or so of updates and everyone is doing so well. A belated welcome to the people who have joined since my last post on the 17/2/09.

My outstanding debt hasn't changed, as we're treading water on long term 0% credit cards and are just paying the min at the minute. I booked a holiday on the 15/2/09 and that balance has now been paid in full along with all the other holiday costs airport hotel and parking etc. I've also bought the children all the summer clothes they need and all the holiday toiletries needed for 3 weeks. It seems silly but is amazing how much all the bug spray, suntan lotion and bits cost. I've shopped well and certainly taken advantage of all Boots BOGOF items. The other bits and bobs have been picked up at the £ shop - goggles & arm bands. We're making sure we stock on up crisps, biscuits and nibbles as advised by a friend who travel there last year. We're all inc at the resort, but only want additional spending to come from trips and not junk etc.

When I look at how much we've spent on the holiday it's quite shocking. The nice feeling is that we've saved it all and not added to our outstanding debt. Next month is set aside for the spending money and then we're done.

I've done a budget until the end of the year and projected spending inc visiting family, school uniform and car service etc. The good news is that despite the holdiay we're still on track to be debt free in 2009. I'm sticking my neck out but it should all be gone by 31st October!

Looking forward to catching up with you all and getting back on the quest of being DFi2009!
