Don't fret Buffy, my terramundi from last year (weird saying that) is nearly full and will be smashed soon and all the £2 coins in there will be released back into the wild again.

I have been saving £2's in a terrumundi for a couple of years. Positing on the previous £2 threads. I think it takes about £400 as I did manage to all but fill it once and got out that much out and banked it. (I use a pallet knife and a lot of patience - but that way I can keep using it.) I keep £2's in my brown one and £1 & 50p's in a mauve one.

I have a very large plastic coke bottle money box which I brought my daughter many years ago which I put 1p/2p/5p/10p and the occasional 20p in. I remember it said that it could contain £1000 but don't remember in what type of denomination. I have no idea how much is in there and would really like to fill it up. That would be incredable.

Like the idea of the sealed container challenge can anyone give me a link please.

went to the shop this morning for a newspaper and a loaf of bread.

Got 3 x £2 coins in change....Nice

All three went into my can...
I want the money to pay for car insurance and tax in november..

Can I join again this year please. Just added up last year and managed to save £276 last year in £2 coins. I saved £254 the year before.
