Virgin theme-park tickets (in general) - what happens?

Morning all,
I was going to post this in the Orlando thread by virtue of it concerning tickets bought for the theme parks there, but I thought I'd open it to a wider audience. Oo-er.
I recently bought some Disney tickets over the phone with Virgin Holidays, who I am flying with (well, with VA), but not staying with, if that makes sense.
That was a few days ago. They said I would get a confirmation email but nothing came about, so I will be ringing later to chase this up.
But is this commonplace - i.e., does it normally take a few days, for those who have used this service before? And will we actually get tickets, or a receipt, or what?
Many thanks
J

I booked mine too about 5 days ago and have heard nothing. However if you log onto 'manage my booking' with Virgin Holidays you will see it all there.
As far as i know 2 weeks prior to travel you get a paper receipt which you exchange for tickets at the park.0 -
Eep. That makes me nervous. I like to have the tickets in my hot little hands immediately!Comping wins this month: 2 x business class flights anywhere we like | Horse vitamins (!) | New kettle | Motorcycling prints | Signed LPs | Thanks to all!0
