Evening everyone,
Plenty of change in my celebrations tin today, I've also got 5p road change and another £2 coin in another tin (93 of the blighters so far). Welcome to the newbies. Also a very good evening to the usual gang. I'll pop back in later before I go home.
Just a quick question (you'd think I'd know this by now!) are we counting vouchers etc from survey sites towards our total figures? I sound like a beginner with this question don't I? lolSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. a further 7p in mine tonight.... 6p from my late night shop, and 1p courtesy of DD (who asked me to pick something up for her while I was there -- and won't get her change
)
ETA: make that 12p -- just found a 5p hiding in the corner of my purse. Not sure where that came fromCheryl0 -
Been swapping all my familys £2 coins for my 1 pound coins, i now carry them around everywhere i go ready to swap with people so they can go into my tin. Doing quite well really.Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.

I actually put some good money in the old tin today:)
I put 1.60 odd into the actual sealed pot and then about 8p in my 5s 1s and 2s jarthe small shrapnel will be put into the bank every now and then.
Sealed pot feeling pretty heavy , that has to be a good sign lol! Im wondering if i should change my target to £300. Hmm no actually im going to keep it at £250 just until i really know how i am doing lol!

Hi everyone and I hope you've all had a great day, financially as well as any other.
Jess, or anyone else, if you should happen to change your mind and want to alter your targets, then just let me know.
A very warm welcome on the thread to you traveller!You already have a number which is 330 and if you read "too_much_debt's" quote just below you'll see why.:o I'm hoping that will be fine with you. Enjoy saving with us and good luck!
too_much_debt wrote:Hi Sue-UU I noticed just now that you have me down on the list twice. I am number 282 (which I'm using on my sig) but you also have me as 330, you could give someone else the 330 number.
Thanks a lot for letting me know tmdebt, much appreciated. I'll do as you suggest and give the latter number to traveller. Many thanksagain!:Dmumoffour77 wrote:No Sue-UU I got it from a local A**n rep, one of her customers ordered it then decided that they didn't want it:) I told her about the challenge and she showed me the item and I bought it from her!! Its just like a screwtop clear plastic jar.....on the lid is the digital counter....It is Fab....but on second thoughts I can see whats in there and money has always burned a hole in my pocket:)....so im going to get one of those terrimundi jars!!!
Thanks a lot mumofour477, I'm just so nosey! Quite a few of you have the jar counters now, but I think a terramundi appeals to me more too, possibly for the same reason. I've quite a few different 'species' of savers now!
Good luck with the driving and saving for the car Jordan!
Sparky To your <<<"Just a quick question (you'd think I'd know this by now!) are we counting vouchers etc from survey sites towards our total figures?">>> question. You count exactly what you wish, it makes no difference to me and I like to think people can do what's best for them! Someone else has already put some in, so why not you! Loved you Bird flu pic on the other page Sparky! That's ok for us gals, but you guys'll need a stronger remedy surely!!!!
Have a wonderful day today folks, it'll be so good to have your little ones home for a couple of weeks now. :j:eek:Bless em, let's hope they get some snow! :snow_grin
Any new friends wishing to join us, please just say the word as you're welcome! :A
