  • Quite a few Jess. There was a terramundi army, a whisky/vodka bottle crew, the battallion of pigs, and quite a few tins used as sealed pots. lol

I am sorry stunty i meant how many individually did people use , we are half way through december and i would say my sealed tin is already almost a 3rd full! I though tit would last me for ages considering my 5s and coppers go in a serperate glass jar.

Welcome on board CrunchyFrogSticks - I'm not even going to ask about that one:idea: comment either!! :silenced: It's lovely to see you and I hope you enjoy it here, saving too. If you go to page 1 you'll see your number at the end of the list, don't forget to have a read through of posts 1 & 2..

    - mumzy, a good idea and if it strikes you as good for you, then go for it! It would certainly be a way of definately ending up with the food being paid for and whatever cash used for presents or however you please. mumzy, have just noticed cw18's thoughts and that sounds far better so have a look back a couple of pages. ......Good luck with a sales version of your piggy bank fedupandskint, otherwise we'll hope to see a piccy of your papier mache one perhaps!! .....A good day with saving Sarellie and marvellous news on getting SO far already with quitting!!!!:T....Hi sparky, really pleased to see you're not longer biking it to work, though you're missing out on any street-cash or will stunty have already got that on his way home from work!;) What a low-life that had to be to dupe that poor woman so, let's hope he gets caught before Christmas and locked up for the next few!!!

.......I look at the machine - and it's TOTALLY obvious to me there's a 'device' on the slot :mad::mad: So I pull it, and it comes off - and there's OH's card.:T:T:T

I say quick, let's move it as the crims will be watching us - and not happy with my superhero activities.:D:D:D

So we hail a cab, and leave. THEN hubby tells me that some dodgy bloke appeared as soon as his card was taken - and said 'yeah, yeah mate, it took my card too. Have you put your pin in? Try doing that then you might get it back.' Luckily my hubby was not a total numpty and was not gonna put his pin in infront of anyone...

Anyhow, bet the crims were peeved as we removed the card and the device.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So - can I have permission to rob hubby myself of a couple of coins? Surely I've earned them.:o:o:o

Congratulations and such excellent foiling of the blighters LC!!!!!!! Oooh I do admire you, and if that doesn't warrant you having relieving your hubby of a little loose change then I don't know what does, in fact it would be my guess that he'd offer it daily on a voluntarily basis for the rest of the year - 2009 I mean!!! Great thinking about dropping it into the nick, stunty!! Go on LC have a good frisk while you're there!!!:rotfl:

A little in the pot for me today - £2.99!!! :j I'm quite chuffed with that.

    Happy savings all.

5p for me today. I had been putting in £1 coins as well, but they will now be going in my overdraft fund as my bank will start charging me £1 a day for being overdrawn from February and I really want to pay it off before then!
  • Some more bits and bobs have gone into the pot over the last couple of days... mainly 50ps liberated from my OH :)
  • Morning all
