    Morning everyone,
Another £2 in my potty, plus £1 road change courtesy of Mr M's shopping trolley, also 13p while walking the dog. Got a couple of mystery shops today, DW thinks I'm mad, but I've told her my psychiatrist told me I'm not lol.

Have a great day everyone. Keep saving & stay safe

  • Sparky- Happy birthday, sorry its late.

Not had much change going in my pot this week, just bits out of my purse, at this rate I will be lucky if I will have enouhg in my pot for a new doormat let alone new carpet :rotfl:. I also need to start concentrating on my CC debts, I have run out of options for doing 0% BT but one of my CC has offered me a low rate life of balance rate, 7.9% and no fee. I'm going to get some stuff put on £bay today and use the money from that to pay extra of my CC's. Sorry for going of topic.

    have a nice day everyone.

Morning, having a quiet morning at work so indulging in a little skiving while I await the arrival of students later on, no change added to my bottle yet this week but my weekly purse emptying session is due tomorrow after I've been out doing all my planned mystery shops (I just worked out my route and I really should pay more attention to where I book things and on what days).
In good news I think I have found myself a new TA unit to go playing soldiers at, just waiting to get the paperwork through and on to their books so I can get paid for turning up - and eventually do my training weekends (as much as I love my job 2.5 days TA training over a weekend pays me virtually the same as my normal working week), should help my bank accounts look a little healthier fairly quickly.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Good to see you back FFprincess! You too elliemoo and too_much_debt, glad you're all still filling your pots.

£1.90 is pretty good focus, far better than if you weren't saving; that's the way to be looking at it. Nothing at all for me! :o

Hey sams, how about only handing over notes, plenty more change that way!

It's great to hear we're having such a wonderful affect on you. Anything that helps folk save just HAS to be good! Keep it up!

Good luck with themystery shops sparky, though I won't comment on the thoughts of your DW....as if I would. "Bitter and twisted old fella" What can I say.....??

, don't worry about going off topic, not for that amount of time anyway. It sounds as though you and I are in the same boat right now, though like you, I've had one come up with a very good offer which I shan't be refusing!

Oh scuba, I do so hope that it all goes ahead and you can soon get to where you want to be. Go for it, seize it and thoroughly enjoy it.!

Have a wonderful Sunday, maybe enjoy the tennis for part of it. I'm for Federer!!!:T Keep safe all.

    Hiya stunty,
DW wouldn't let me go into the arcades, she thinks the flashing lights may send me over the edge :rotfl:. As for the tax man, do I have to contact him, or does he come and get me?
