Hi everyone - TheBees are back!:j

Not been on here for several weeks but we're still trying to save our change. The £1 bottle's looking really good but the loose change one never seems to get any fuller despite us throwing coins in daily.

    Must try harder!
Hoping to retire earlier than 67!

    Hi everyone.

I'm with moneysavingfamilycomp, no money in the pots today and although NSD's are good I far prefer putting cash in and 'feeling' it grow.

Good to see you again TheBees! :j About bloomin time though!

Well done Skippy, you're getting to be a really regular saver and every penny you put in is money on it's way to either being paid back or saved, excellent!

Don't worry Our Elsie, liking knitting isn't always for older folk. One young lass in her teens was saying on the knitting thread a little while ago that her friends take the mick, but they might just envy her knowing how to do it when they're a little older. The main thing is that you're getting pleasure from what you do, that's all that counts!

By heck it's quiet here, I know the reason why but I'm not going to tempt trouble as it (they) usually come without us saying a word anyway!!! Look out later!

Whatever the weather...and it doesn't look good, enjoy your day all. Dry any roadkill before putting it in or the pigs'll catch colds!! :rotfl:

Sue. x Any new folk wishing to become members then please holler, I'll be with you asap.

    Morning everyone,:hello:

Hi Sue-UU, yes you're right, I do enjoy knitting and the grandchildren get jumpers etc that last for years, that's also MSE.
It certainly is quiet on here lately, where did everyone go.!! We had better make the most of it 'cos we know it won't last !!!
Just another 9p into potty yesterday, but I'm going shopping this morning so should have a bit of change to go in.

Have a good day everyone, the sun is out and its a lovely day.:T:T

    Morning everyone,
MOre gold coins in my sealed pot, plus the nice lady in Boot's gave me £1 too much in my change (her fault, as she was too busy talking to her friend!). Well I've been cracking on with the kitchen (it feels like the severn bridge, never finished lol) still waiting for tradesmen to come and get the bl**dy thing finished.

Have a great day everyone, stay safe and keep saving

            Evening everyone,
Out shopping today & at the till a lady in front of me dropped a receipt from her pocket with a £5 note wrapped up in it, she didn't even notice she'd dropped anything until I gave her it back, she was so surprised, and said it was her last money until pension day on Monday. I'm so glad I gave it back to her.

Have a great Saturday evening, be it Britains got Talent or Eurovision Song Contest, or just going out and getting drunk!

Catch you all tomorrow, stay safe everyone
