A huge boost to my pot today, DH gave me his jar of coins so £20.53 added:j. I've told him just to leave out any spare change from now on so it's become a shared challenge:D,but I think he'll contribute more than me, he's always popping into shops buying chocolate;). I only managed a paltry 36p today myself......

Aww thanks Sue, this is a great challenge and has really made me think about saving the pennies, it's amazing how they build up, I'm 1/4 of the way towards my target of £100 and it'll be such a relief to have money put by to do my Christmas food shopping. Have a lovely day(I'm in the sunny side of the UK too).

Just home from another adventure to the south, didnt spend much but have accumulated change from the males again, what is it with blokes and leaving change lying around, he only bothers to carry coins greater than 50p's so the rest just floats around....So I made him buy a money box and start using it, but as I dropped him off at the airport he emptied his pockets again in to the change well in the car, so all the small coins have been dropped in to the bottle - left the bigger ones as I'm running low on car parking change again.
