Eliza, i recon you should have two piggies, one full one and then one to keep him company :)

I managed a whopping 8p this morning before work, wooohoooo lol, hopefully when pay day comes around i will be able to increase that dramatically lol

    Puzzled x

Puzzled, I think that is a really idea because if I have to get the money out of the first piggy into the the second bigger one, I would have to touch the money and if I touch it, I will have to count it and then I will know how much I have and have to spend it:eek:

Managed to sneak another £1.40 into the pot. Makes up for the fact that nothing much has gone in for weeks before today!

            Hi everyone. :hello:

Only 37p in coppers into potty yesterday and today. Doubt anything will be going in tomorrow, I'm not at work so it should be a No spend day. :A

I'm off work now for a week and going away at the weekend, so I'm looking forward to that, and hopefully enjoy myself without spending too much. Whatever I have left out of my allowed spends will go into Potty.

Lucky Charlie, I have to agree with you, we are certainly better behaved than some I can mention. !!

Besides there's not enough room for all of us on that naughty step. !!

71p in coppers added to my pot.

It's nearly the end of the month, have you all decided what you're going to do with the saved money?

When i first started this brill challenge i had no particular goal, but i think i'll use the money to pay off some of my barclaycard :j.

Thanks to whoever posted this challenge. It's really helped me to save and give serious thought to getting my @rse in gear and work at paying off my debts :D.

Thanks for all the great support with your fab posts :T.

Hope you all have a great debt-busting/money-saving day

Ok - so I know I was not going to empty my tins (£2 and 20p and under) until nearly the end of the year - but - my £2 tin was nearly, nearly full and so was the other one (maybe I spend too much - giving me too much change!!!!)

So - my £2 tin had £186 in it!!! - £180 for the bank and £6 back into new tin. Change tin had £47.53 - £45 for bank - £2.53 back into tins.

Now - I know that as I have debts it would be sensible to pay this money off them - but I have no savings - so as the sealed pot challenge was for my Christmas fund I have decided to bank this lot, and then next time the tins are full - that wil be paid off my debt. Sounds ok to me?
