Hello all and thanks for the welcome Sue. Hopefully any shrapnel I can collect and pound coins I can save will healthily go into the masters fund.
I know this is completely off topic but I wanted to share my joy with everyone here.
This morning I won £100 on the daily scratch   :j :j
I still can't believe it as I think I've only ever managed to win 50p before and that was just once!!!!Saving for a house deposit and associated costs:
£7750/£30000 = 25.83%0 -
Morning all! Just had 3 NSD in a row, so not many pennies going at the moment. The pottery piggy looks bleak

My sealed pot is feeling nice and heavy!
It holds £500 in £1 coins but I've been stuffing notes into it as well!
Looking forward to wielding the can opener when it's full.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

copied from virual selaed pot thread as i am getting a tad confused with all my pots lol
gave in and counted my small change jar  £17.16 in that, figure in my £1 tin is a bit hit and miss as i keep track in my spending diary of my pound but i also throw in any that i come across in the house, found 2 down the side of the sofa so that went in but because htat is a proper sealed tin i have no idea what is in it exactly
going to count my loose one every month and either change into pound coins or transer into savings as i think my wee piggy will shortly be full0 -

£1.14 into pot today.....almost at the end of the week, so not a lot of money left in my purse. Have accounted for bus fares to work tomorrow, and hopefully should have a couple of pounds left over.....which will go into pot tomorrow.
