    Saving for my future...
  • I have made an executive decision .......

since the start of the year I have been looking for roadkill and so far found 22p - now before I started really looking I used to find loads of the stuff. So here is my executive decision - I am now not going to look, thus lulling the lolly into a false sense of security and therefore finding more - ha ha !!!! I am sure my cunning plan will work and my roadkill jar will be full by the end of the year!!!:rotfl:

I had a NSD today but got paid so put 1 shiny gold coin in the pot - its starting to feel quite heavy now - I would love to count it but that would mean opening the tin - and I must not open the tin!!!!!!

Happy saving everyone - keep safe and well x

    Morning everyone!

A very warm welcome to the thread koopa_coffee. Lovely to meet you. :D Enjoy yourself here and have fun with saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. Read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with queries.

A wonderful piece of reading there sparky, makes sense to me! :rolleyes:A great way of thinking Flat Eric, though why not try to get your food sorted out so most of your money isn't literally going on the compost or waste bin! Make a list before you shop and be sure to check through your cupboards and fridge to make certain you haven't already got enough in! You could then share your savings with the pot rather than your losses!:j ....Hi mumzy, good to see you and good luck with the test. .......No Oops, you wouldn't drop your own money, would you??! :confused:We don't drop it, just pick it up!!! .....snickers, you need to stay calm and take things easy as you're fast reaching the stage where we start to worry about folk. Does the term 'men in white coats' mean anything to you???? Keep a look out for them too ....or don't - whichever makes best sense to you!

Some for our pot today, a whole £3.91 all in separate ones per coinage.
Have a lovely Wednesday everyone and fill it with penny type thoughts!

Sue PS. For any new friends wishing to join us, please just ask and I'll be with you ASAP. Yahooooo! Got all the way through that without the cursor running all over the page, first time for 6 days!!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j
