Collected a handful of change from around the house when having a quick tidy up this morning (and looking for the keys so I could open the shop on time). Mostly coppers and not that many of them but its all good since I had to spend my purse change on car parking (it what used to be a free car park near my old work place) this weekend.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

eSparkles, most of us don't keep track of what we're saving, the idea is to be surprised when we empty them in December, but it's up to individuals. Your own thoughts on viewing your savings were perfect, though I hope you achieve a fair bit!:j

    thank you Sue xx

More money for the pot today! Went swimming with a work colleague today at lunchtime and the price had gone up so the change goes straight into the pot! Bit miffed as to why the price has gone up without any notice, or notice actually at the pool  but never mind!

  • The nice self-service till at Morrisons gave me two £2 coins and one 20p coin in my change today, so that's gone in the tin, along with shrapnel in my 5p and under tin :D

Another £1.02p into the pot today, although hubby has gone out, so when he gets back I'll raid his pockets.......although I have nearly got him trained to "give " when asked....
