I'd like to join this please...I'm going to save my pennies and 50ps until the pots are full...no target, just to use the amounts to make extra payments off the debts when they're full up!!

The papier mache pig was a disaster - don't think it was properly dried so I'm carrying on with the coffee jar.

Had been saving all of the new style coins (not entirely sure why.... :rotfl: ) and they went in there yesterday cos I was sick to death of moving them everytime I dusted.

The 1p, 2p and 5p went in my regular jar for those tiddlers and I substituted an ordinary old-style 10p to go with the 20p and 50p.

Then today I rounded up the amount of my multi-buy saving from ASDA - was originally £2.56 but put £2.60 in... :p

Like I say - I've started...just not sure if I'll keep the momentum up but good luck to everyone else

My new sealed tin arrived this morning from ebay s everything from the (easily opened) piggy bank has gone into there. There were 4 £2 coins so with other shrapnel i reckon theres about a tenner in total to start with-cant wait to open it next december!!!

Found 15p just lying in the street, in the pot it goes! Also added a pound I found in son's washing pile - finders keepers and all that!

three clunks for me today (change from parking the car in town) not planning on many more between now and the New Year as I am planning to have two NSD.

pot is getting quite heavy already and I keep meaning to buy a new tin so I have one in reserve for when this one gets full :D I know BHS had some before xmas and I should check them out for ones in the sales.
