  • Thanks to the party on saturday, I put about £10 in the pottie yesterday - plus a large golden coin from OH.

I also had a VERY sore head resulting in a NSD.

Unfortunately I missed my train home and a taxi cost me £25!!!! So am a tad cross with myself.

But am trying not to feel guilty and just think, well it is Christmas, and it's not as though I'm spending money here there and everywhere...
    Save me from spending...

  • I was doing so well, or so i thought. Then through the letterbox comes dh credit card bill from virgin:mad: since i had forgotten about this one and they want received payment by Jan 1st and dh doesn't get paid til Dec 29th i reluctantly opened up my "pot" to put towards the bill and found a astounding £68:D needless to say i've got a new pot and starting over.

Lesson learned, and i've now signed up to pay bills on-line so i don't get caught out by this again and dh pockets will be emptied later.

A few small rattles in to the bottle today, change found in the bottom of an old handbag and a few coins I found in the bottom of my bed after the male abandoned his jeans there the other night (well it saves me turning him upside down to find his money I suppose).
