Cat vomiting undigested food

My cat and my kitten both do this if i let them have dry food, they eat it so fast that they've probbly had too much and puke it back up.
If i don't clean it up straight away because i was at work they've been know to eat it again LOL, then i just find the outline of it on the cream carpet (as opposed to the fully laminated downstairs area they could have chosen)
Needless to say, i don't let them have dry food anymore, unless it's the kitten stuff which is smaller, and mixed with wet food.0 -
Yep, mine do it too, not often truthfully but its usually when they eat too much food at too high a speed and just bring it all back up again. My Mums cat does it too, usually when he takes a dislike to the food he is being fed (usually every other week), she swears its deliberate so that she will change the food!
If you are still bothered then you could take her to the vet to get her checked over but I think most cats do it every once in a while.0 -
Don't worry if she seems fine in every other way - all our cats have done this from time to time.
Our first cat was an expert! Some of the places - On cream carpets, down the back of the settee, in my shoe, where you walked in bare feet & on one memorable occasion from the breakfast bar down the back of a radiator! Imagine the smell!! He was a fine cat who lived to a ripe old age.
I'm afraid it's one of the 'joys' of sharing your home with cats0 -
My three cats do this occasionally too - usually the younger two because they eat at 100mph, obviously not knowing where their next meal is coming from, poor things, or ill with stress from sleeping upside down on my bed all day.
Infact one of them was sick of the aforementioned bed, twice. Just what you need after a 16-hour day.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0
