At long last I have managed to save enough to have my dream holiday going to the Australian and Malaysian Grand prix next year.
I'm staying with a relative in Melbourne but as she will be working during the week will have a lot of free time any suggestions on must do things in and around Melbourne?
Im stopping off in Kuala Lumpur for the race on the way home and will be there on my own and only have a couple of days that I won't be at the track. Im planning on going to the Petronas towers but any suggestions for sightseeing in Kuala Lumpur??

Loads of things in Melbourne. See the fairy penguins come to shore at dusk, see the old gold mining towns (made into living museums now), go to a vineyard and have a taster session, hire a car and drive parts of the F1 circuit (the only circuit other than Monaco to use public highways I believe), see the museum of Ned Kelly and the prison he was kept in, go shopping!

Medders go on to trip advisor and you will get a good overview of things to do .You can visit the KL Tower as well.Be able to do that the same day as the Towers.I live beside them and it gets busy every day. very beautiful at night Plenty of shopping there as well LIke Chinatown market where all it is is fake goods. The Elephant sanctuary is a bit outside. Dont know if you want to travel.Shop eat and drink a plenty.Depends where you are going to stay in KL as well.Hope to be going to the GP myself.Looking forward to it as I missed the Singapore one.0
