only I pay my mortgage payments into Webb Resolutions bank account even though they arnt regulated to do so and all my administate correspondents have always come from Webb who arnt regulated to administrate a mortgage. Could you explain that one!.
The receiving bank account doesnt stop the administrators handling the admin. Letterheads dont mean anything either. I contract out a number of services but you wouldn't know that I do this. Same goes for any business.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
So why do the FSA say that my rights dont count as Webb Resolutions arnt regulated by them and they are the ones who take me to court so thats when I need to count on my rights. Whats the point of having a regulated mortgage company when anyone can administrate it and say someone else does. Why would my mortgage company write to me to say Crown collect my payments because Webb are not allowed to handle client monies but they do mine because I pay it direct into there bank account. I just think this is a wrong situation and also the financial ombudsman wouldnt even take my complaint up at first because of Webb to, whats the point of the ombudsman if anyone can do what they want.0

Hello - I received a letter today stating my mortgage has been transferred from Morgan Stanley to a company called charter mortgages. I have done a web search and can not find any info about them. I am in arrears on my mortgage as was off work for 2 years when I had cancer, but I am in remission now and back in work and making my monthly payments plus as much as I can afford off the arrears each month. I am really concerned as I can not find any info on this company - good or bad, and I hope they do not seek repossession of my property. Anyone else heard of/dealt with them? Thanks0

Hello everyone, i too had my mortgage transferred from Mortgages 1 Plc to Webb in Feb 2010 without my knowledge and had over £4000 worth of charges added to the account.!
I also think Webb has acted wrongly in my mortgage and something is definately wrong somewhere.0 -
Hi, just read your thread, Ive been fighting With Webb Resolutions for the past 2 years, they have been trying to evict me at least 15 times. Have got a complaint in with the Ombudsman who is now investigating Lapithus (who are meant to be the "administrators" for Webb Resolutions who are not regulated to administer a mortgage, but do in every way and sense). I am now being taken to court again by Webb (not Lapithus) so the battle continues. If you want to know anymore information or have anything you think could help both of us please reply to this thread. I am passionate to prove that my mortgage that was with Mortgages 1 plc, backed by the FSA, was wrongly sold to the likes of Webb Resolutions who are regulated by the FSA, so all your rights and protocol is ceased when they buy your mortgage.0
