Good sky customer service (well so far) Am I dreaming???

I think I must be dreaming, I have just had excellent service from SKY!!! and lets face it how often does that happen?
My sky+ box decided that today is the day for it to die. Not good at all. I've had it since October last year and didn't bother paying the stupid amount they wanted for extended warranty.
So anyway rang sky got through to an advisor on technical in 2 minutes ( a miracle in itself its normally at least 40 mins) Very nice lady talked me through a couple of checks but still nothing.
She straight away said well your warranty has run out but seeing as its only by a couple of months she will get installer to call free of charge, not only that but the problem Im having means box is probably never going to work again so it will be a straight swap! Then to top it off booked me an appointment for Wednesday afternoon!
Is it me or is it very unusual to get this much help from Sky without threatening to leave??
Everyone keep their fingers crossed that the installer turns up now!

I had the same experience a couple of years ago with Sky - box broke a couple of months after the warranty expired and the guy I spoke to said he would put it through as a warranty claim. I got a brand new Sky plus box as well as the fault couldn't be fixed.
They're not always that bad then :-)0
